Best BLT in town! Love coming here for lunch. I don't come here for the bar aspect but because I work locally and Newport Mariners Mile doesn't have much food options. HOWEVER-The Shamrock has it ALL!!!

If you can ever come here please do! The staff are all seemingly "Irish" and I just love that! They really make this place a fantastic establishment. Like someone else said above, a true "pub" experience!

We went here Saturday night and had a great time. Local band played some good tunes and service was good. Enjoyed a few beers each and had a great time. Everyone in place was friendly and having a good time

Shamrock is OPEN on sundays... Yelp is incorrect....
They are only closed on Christmas

This is my go to place when I'm in town. Jo is usually the bartender, Chris and Frank the owners are all Irish, at an Irish bar for heavens sake.  The food is good, the atmosphere is convivial. The regulars are friendly, this is what pubs are really like.

Your bartender, Colm, is ridiculous. He gave my friend a lecture...sadly...was completely unnecessary. Get over yourselves.
